The weather is finally starting to cool down here in Kansas City, which is usually a heartbreaking reality for this summer loving soul. This year, however, the transition is very well received. Hear me out, I'm not saying that I'm joining the ranks of the pumpkin spice loving, UGG wearing basics, but I can't wait for crisp evenings on the porch with my faithful pipe and a good book (instagram feed). If that's so wrong, then I don't want to be right. Anyways, enough weather shaming, as this post features some of the magic that changes of all sorts can bring. Along with the end of summertime, I also moved from the suburbs to the city. Actually living in a home that is older than 30 years does this British nationals' heart a world of good. This week I took full advantage of my front porch, and had breakfast with some friends in the community. So heres to new beginnings, great coffee, better friends, and feeling a greater connectivity to the city thats become home. It's going to be a great year.
